Canberra is the national capital of Australia located in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).
It is the meeting place, as this Aboriginal name suggests, of Australia's Federal Government.

The Canberra Calligraphy Society Inc., founded in 1986 by three friends,
Rick Edmunds, Aili O'Flaherty and Gemma Black, meets once a month for
regular workshops on calligraphy, bookbinding and allied arts and crafts at
Urambi Village, Driveway B, Crozier Circuit, Kambah 1.30pm - 4.30pm

We host workshops with local and visiting calligraphers of note,
once a month at these meetings. The CCS also hosts an annual calligraphy retreat
in the Snowy Mountains for that perfect getaway weekend with a calligraphic flavour.
