The service is very friendly and helpful.
It is very rare to find such a large selection of papers, inks, tools, books
etc under one roof.
A mail order option is also available.

for study by interested persons.
Amongst these books in a facsimile copy of The Book of Kells!
An application for a Special Collections ticket must
first be made before being allowed to use the books,
but this is generally only a formality (identification required) and can be
obtained on the day of the visit.

to the public.
It is best to contact the Rare Books Collection and make an appointment beforehand.
