Nook Window
"South facing nook windows on a
rainy spring morning. Between meals the table is a playground for reading,
bird watching, journaling, noting, filing and shuffling important stuff.
To the right is a TV for channel switching to news programs, golf tournaments
and ancient civilizations on the Discovery Channel. Note the worlds oldest
gardenia plant on the table; it defies winter, producing one fragrant bloom
after another all through the cold and wet seasons. In really ugly weather
I lean up against these bay window frames and watch 180 degrees of the
lake, birds, golf course and distant mountains. The peaks are obscured
by low overcast on this rainy spring morning".
