Fog burnt away quickly and I saw something shimmering way off a tree out by the edge of the lake
by the mallards nesting area. Binoculars showed it to be another spider web; a sort of suspension bridge between red tree leaf buds in the low, bare liquid amber tree branches.

Grabbed a camera and a cane right away because such things are fleeting,, and went out
for a closer look. Never quite came up against this strong morning backlight
against back lighted tree lines in early light before, but tried a few photos anyway,
as the fog beading clinging to the web was spectacular!"
